Target audiences: Youth (school pupils, university students, alumni and youth networks), women, local authorities, educational institutions, and vulnerable communities.

THE CONCEPT
CLIMAT-ALERTE ROADSHOW
The Climat-Alerte Roadshow is a traveling television broadcast and field-action platform traversing the municipalities of Cameroon to mobilize populations against the climate crisis. At every stop, the program deploys its flagship “One Pupil, One Tree” Caravan with a historic milestone to engage youth networks to plant and monitor one million trees, with each regional stop executed under the official patronage of the host Mayor to guarantee long-term community land tenure.
SCIENTIFIC RIGOR & ECONOMIC IMPACT
1. Data Integrity & Digital MRV
- Auditable Methodology: Deployment of a rigorous scientific protocol to publish the very first 100% verifiable and auditable tree survival rate in Central Africa.
- Geospatial Security: A digital tracking architecture combining satellite monitoring and geospatial mapping, purpose-built to enable transparent auditing by independent third parties.
2. Local Economic Translation
- Green Job Creation (SDG 8): Establishing 156 community nurseries that generate direct employment, professional agricultural training, and micro-revenues for the youth and women of our local communities.
- Sustainable Municipal Resources: Aggregating 156 municipal land territories into high-value (premium) voluntary carbon credit markets to unlock new sovereign financial resources for local councils.
- Asset & Infrastructure Protection: Natural ecological mitigation of severe soil erosion and flooding, directly safeguarding vital agricultural farmlands and public municipal infrastructures.

Climate Resilience in Action: Empowering Youth and Communities in Cameroon
Climate change is no longer a distant threat; it is an active catalyst of environmental and socio-economic disruption across Sub-Saharan Africa. From intensifying rural droughts and soil degradation to devastating urban floods and escalating agropastoral conflicts, local populations in Cameroon are on the front lines of this ecological crisis.

CLIMAT-ALERTE addresses this critical urgency by bridging institutional advocacy with local governance. Driven by MEDIAPRO CAMEROON COOP-CA—an accredited United Nations service provider (UNGM #692753)—this initiative transforms schools and villages into operational hubs for climate resilience. By combining scalable Nature-based Solutions (such as community-led reforestation) with innovative grassroots environmental journalism, we equip youth to become active architects of local climate policies. Executive Producer & Strategic Lead
A highly accomplished television director and senior concept designer whose 36-year career at Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV: 1986–2022) tracked the evolution of modern broadcasting in Central Africa. Renowned for leading technical capture arrays for elite global networks, notably partnering with Japan’s national broadcaster, NHK. He directs the overarching macro-vision and UNGM multi-stakeholder integration profiles.

Line Producer & Media Logistics Director
A celebrated broadcasting icon, pioneering television presenter, and Cameroon Hall of Fame inductee with over 30 years of elite programming and reporting history at the national network (CRTV). She leverages her extensive team management legacy to orchestrate complex field logistics and programmatic deployments for the 156 school eco-club networks and CLIMAT-ALERTE TV MAG arrays.

Scientific Director & Senior Government Advisor
Eminent academic geographer, university researcher, and sitting Technical Advisor (Conseiller Technique) within the Cabinet of the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation (MINRESI). He drives the strict, peer-reviewed botanical planning and spatial mapping required to deploy the 1 million trees restoration framework safely and securely across degraded biomes.
Dr. Louis-Marcel AMBATA
Anthropological & Cultural Intelligence Director
Senior Lecturer and Researcher within the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences at the University of Douala (Department of Linguistics, Literature, and African Civilisations). He leads the intercultural communication strategy, engineering the translation of complex environmental science into indigenous languages and narratives to guarantee deep, local community land stewardship.

UI/UX Design Director
Distinguished Web Systems Engineer and Faculty Member at the prestigious National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaoundé (ENSPY – Polytechnique) and the College of Art & Design. He directs the program’s secure web architecture, technical interface data models, and brand assets to guarantee that our digital visibility and transparency workflows meet rigid international standards.

International Production & Cross-Border Media Strategist
Senior International Executive Producer operating out of Euromirai France with over 20 years of hands-on media logistics expertise coordinating elite Japanese broadcasting networks across the African continent. He acts as lead technical media consultant, paving syndication pathways to broadcast local youth climate datasets onto global television arrays.

Climate Technical Suppor
Environmental specialist with six years of experience with international organizations. Within Climat Alerte, he humbly assists the team by providing technical insights on climate adaptation and participating actively in the collaborative drafting, structuring, and assembly of the official project document framework.
Mr. Jean Marie Hermenegilde ETOGA
Senior Safeguards Specialist
An Agricultural Engineer with over 20 years of climate resilience and conservation experience across Central Africa, having served with WWF, WCS, and EDC. Within Climat Alerte, he humbly guides social impact assessments (ESIA), rights-based local community and indigneous People engagement, and project compliance with international donor frameworks.
